Psychotic Depression: what it is and how it manifests itself

Psychotic depression is a subtype of major depression that occurs when a severe depressive illness includes a form of psychosis. Psychosis may be hallucinatory (such as hearing a voice that tells you that you are not good or worthless), illusions (such as intense feelings of worthlessness, failure or committing a sin), or other breaks of reality.
